John P. Hoyt, FACHE, FHIMSS
Executive Vice President, Organisational Services

John joined HIMSS in 2008 as Vice President, Healthcare Organisation Services, where he led the HIMSS organisational affiliate programme that allows healthcare providers to join HIMSS as corporate members to help foster and grow IT professional identity throughout the organisation. He also managed the HIMSS Senior IT Executive community, where senior-level leaders can connect with each other, contribute to HIMSS objectives and advocacy positions and continue to develop their professional careers through learning.

In 2010, John advanced to Executive Vice President, and is responsible for providing executive leadership and direction to HIMSS Analytics and other HIMSS departments focused on services or companies and organisations. John reports to HIMSS President & CEO H. Stephen Lieber. Throughout his healthcare career, John has been instrumental in defining business and IT strategy as well as selecting, implementing and integrating mission-critical healthcare information systems across the enterprise. Before joining HIMSS, John served in Senior Management and Chief Information Officer positions with various healthcare organisations and consultancy practices, including: IBM Healthlink Services; Martha Jefferson Health Services in Charlottesville, Va.; and First Data Health Systems Group.

John holds a BS/BA in Economics from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, and an MHA from St. Louis University in Missouri. He is a HIMSS Fellow and a Fellow and active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).


Jeremy T. Bonfini
Executive Vice President, Global Services

Jeremy T. Bonfini is Executive Vice President, Global Services, for HIMSS, the largest U.S. cause-based, not-for-profit healthcare association focused on the optimal use of information technology and management systems for the betterment of healthcare.

At HIMSS, Bonfini is responsible for the development of the Society's programs outside of North America. During his tenure, he has grown HIMSS' international presence through the establishment of offices in Brussels and Singapore.

Before joining HIMSS, Bonfini served as Intel Corporation's Worldwide Digital Health Policy Manager. In this role, Bonfini contributed to European Union developments on eHealth interoperability, facilitated advancement of a national EHR Standard in the People's Republic of China and supported approval for medical devices using WLAN/Bluetooth in Japan.

Earlier in his career, Bonfini served as an Education Policy Analyst in the House of Commons in London, England. Upon returning to the United States, he represented the National Mining Association in Washington, DC, and worked with the U.S Representative from Ohio's 18th Congressional District to provide constituent services and advocated for legislation favoring economic development.

He is a magna cum laude graduate of The American University, Washington DC, with a Bachelors degree in Political Science and a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society.
