Peter has had an extensive career at many levels in the health sector including time as the Finance Director of a group of seven hospitals in New Zealand, more than ten years as Director of Funding and Financial Policy for the State of Victoria, Australia as well as time spent in the National Health Service and Department of Health in the United Kingdom.

Over the past twenty years, Peter has presented in over seventeen countries on the subject of case-mix funding and information systems for the improvement of financial performance and clinical outcomes.

Peter is a Chartered Accountant and Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine in the United Kingdom (UK).

Peter received his undergraduate degree in commerce and a postgraduate diploma in business administration from Auckland University. He also studied at Harvard University and is an alumnus of the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
