The Saudi eHealth Interoperability Framework and Policies - Update and Direction

This preconference session provides an update on the National Saudi eHealth Program, and describes the eHealth Specifications and Policies developed thus far in the program. This session will offer Healthcare Professionals, IT architects, management of Saudi healthcare organizations and vendors the opportunity to learn more about the National eHealth program and the specifications developed and currently in development. Participants will be able to interact with the Ministry of Health team in charge of this project.

The session will be organized as a workshop with ample time for question and answers, and will cover the following:

  1. The national strategy for standards-based interoperability in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
  2. Saudi eHealth Specifications already developed
  3. New Specifications currently in development
  4. Opportunities to participate in development of the National Standards Programs
