Mohammed R. Alyemeni is the Advisor to the Minister of Health and General Supervisor of Information and Communication Technology, Ministry of Health, Saudi Arabia. He is a Doctor of Public Health, majoring in Health Information Systems and Health Administration from the University of Pittsburgh, USA.

He is an Assistant Professor of Health Information Systems & Hospital Administration in King Saud University. He served as the Vice Dean of the College of Business Administration, King Saud University. He also serves as an adjunct Assistant Professor of Health and Medical Informatics at King Saud Bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences.

Dr. Alyemeni has undertaken research and consultancies for major health organizations and government agencies in Saudi Arabia, and he is also a member of various scientific and professional associations. His research interests include developing and evaluating health information resources, applications of information technology to health, health policy development, and health management.
