HIMSS Saudi Arabia 2020

HIMSS | Health 2.0
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Health Conference & Exhibition

Status update on conference postponement

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we have continued to monitor the situation with COVID-19 (coronavirus). Made apparent by recent reports from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the virus continues to spread globally and the situation is so dynamic that each day brings a new development.

In light of the Ministry of Health’s decision to stop medical conferences and health exhibitions until further notice, we are announcing postponement of the joint Ministry of Health-HIMSS SAUDI ARABIA 2020 event. This postponement is necessary to comply with the decision referenced above and to protect the health and safety of local residents, as well as the healthcare providers tasked with keeping their Saudi Arabian communities healthy.

HIMSS is working closely with the Ministry of Health and the venue to identify suitable alternative dates and venue.

We will be providing additional information regarding the postponement. Please check www.himssme.org/riyadh/2020/news for updates and contact reg@himss.org with any questions.
