Dr. Mohammed Alhefzi, is an Associate Consultant Physician in Preventive Medicine with concentration in Health Informatics. He obtained his MBBS from King Khalid University (Abha, Saudi Arabia) and received his MSc with Merit from Swansea University Medical School (UK), he is the first Saudi accredited physician to pursue Health Informatics as track specialization of Preventive and Community Medicine Residency Program in the kingdom.
He currently is a member of the National Health Informatics Advisory Committee and the Saudi Health Informatics Competencies Framework Workgroup (Part of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties).
He recently established the SaudiCDC Center of Health Informatics. Prior to, he worked with the Clinical Informatics team in King Fahd Specialist Hospital in Dammam (KFSH-D) as well as King Faisal Medical City for Southern Regions (KFMCity), while leading the eHealth team for the newly introduced Model of Care in the 1st Health Cluster in the Eastern Province.
