Q. Where do I pick up my badge?
You can pick up your badge at the registration desk located in the foyer of the Al Dana Ballroom.
For security purposes, all attendees are asked to wear their name badge received at registration to all events during the Conference. Attendees without a name badge will be asked to obtain a new one from the registration desk.

Q. Is there an age limit at MiddleEast09?
Yes, all registrants (including spouses or guests) must be 18 years of age or older to attend MiddleEast09.
Q. Do I need to be registered for the conference before I can book my hotel at MiddleEast09’s rate?
No, but it is highly recommended that you register for both your hotel and conference registrations at the same time. After you have registered for the conference, you will be directed to the hotel registration site.

Q. How is the weather in Bahrain in May?
In May, the average temperature is a high of 92 degrees F (33 degrees C) and a low of 78 degrees F (25 degrees C) .
Q. What kind of currency do I use?
The Dinar (BD) is the official currency of Bahrain. Notes appear in denominations of BD20, 10, 5, and 1, and 500 fils. Coins are in denominations of 100, 50, 25 and 10 fils.
Currency exchange
Currency can be exchanged at the airport, at most hotels and in banks and bureaux de change. Rates are more preferential at the bureaux de change than at the airport or at hotels. There are some ATMs in Manama that are connected to international networks.
Credit & debit cards
American Express, Diners Club, MasterCard and Visa are accepted in hotels, major stores and restaurants. Smaller shops may prefer to deal in cash. Check with your credit or debit card company for details of merchant acceptability and other services which may be available.
